Job CategoryIT/Software Development Job Location US-AZ-Scottsdale StatusFull Time Position description We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead and manage our Quality Assurance team, supporting the technology applications utilized in our Global Corporate Systems (GCS) business operations. The team will consist of 4-6 associates and 3-4 contractors; there may also be some off-shore resources. Key responsibilities of the team are to provide automation services to the QA and application development teams through various projects, including production support. We are seeking an individual who has demonstrated an exceptional ability to assess performance, provide feedback effectively, and coach and develop team members to deliver best business results. You will: Develop and manage the skills and capabilities of associates to maximize individual -- as well as team -- productivity and potential. Formulate recommendations regarding the strategic direction of technology in partnership with IT and business groups throughout GCS organization. Complete and deliver all projects within stated timeframes, in accordance with predefined quality measures, through project management methodology. Resolve issues that impact the system and/or applications through collaboration and communication with other teams. Communicate verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical individuals, including engineers, managers, and client groups. Lead and facilitate effective, team-based meetings Ensure adherence to all internal and external guidelines and policies related to compliance and process standards.QualificationsYou must have Quality Assurance and Applications Development experience in addition to strong people and project management skills.
