Job CategoryIT/Software Development Job Location US-CA-Irvine StatusFull Time Position description The Project Manager for the Global Institutional Group (GIG) Information Systems department will lead project teams to determine project requirements, develop project plans, and analyze, design and implement new technology and/or enhancements to existing systems. We have a large number of midsized projects that require a dedicated project manager.As a Project Manager, you will lead the project to outsource North American back-office functions, including transfer agency, fund accounting, and fund administration services for the U.S. commingled and common trust funds.Qualifications Managing external outsourced relationships Working with senior level executives/stakeholders Managing project budgets of at least $5 million, with a team of 10-30 resources Managing projects involving compliance/audit (e.g., SOX, SAS70) Conversion planning and execution skills and system integration with outside vendors Direct experience in Investment Management industry, specifically in portfolio accounting and related back office business processes and functions System design, data modeling and application architecture Prior hands-on development experience Database concepts, database design, data modeling and system architectures Thorough knowledge of project management which includes cost/benefit analysis, the ability to structure the work, define roles, delegate responsibilities and develop project/task schedules and plans Demonstrated ability to lead all phases of custom and packaged software development projects including needs assessment and determining system requirements, project planning, selecting a team and assigning project responsibilities, project scheduling, negotiating project deliverables, software/product evaluation and selection, system/application design and testing, communicating project status, and implementing and maintaining systemsWe offer excellent salaries, a progressive environment and a premier benefits package that includes: Medical, dental and vision coverage effective day one Three weeks vacation in year one 15% of annual salary plus bonuses contributed by the company to your retirement plan, up to IRS limits Generous educational assistance Health club subsidy Paid, comprehensive training programs Team-oriented working environment Business casual dressWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
