Assistant to Mortgage Branch Manager

Join our team at Prosperity Mortgage Company, a joint venture with Wells Fargo, the #1 mortgage lender, and Long & Foster Real Estate, the #1 privately-owned real estate company in the US.  We are seeking a highly motivated assistant in a very busy Gaithersburg real estate and mortgage office.

 

Providing administrative, sales support and marketing to the Branch Manager, your duties will include: assisting in obtaining necessary documentation from loan borrowers; following-up with customers and vendors to ensure files are complete; preparing and distributing sales materials, creating marketing materials; and performing a variety of other administrative duties. 

 

Potential candidates must possess a high school diploma (or GED) and 1-2 years administrative experience, preferably in the mortgage banking, real estate, or financial industries.  Candidates must have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and have a strong attention to details.  Strong communication and customer service skills as well as a strong commitment to quality customer service and client service are mandatory.  Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.  Solid computer skills are a must, including knowledge of Word, Excel and Photo Shop or Publisher.
