PurposeAs a Target Visa Collections Representative, youll correspond with delinquent guests and resolve delinquent account balances by providing professional responses to each guest to ensure a positive credit experience.See Yourself:Reviewing account information and negotiating payment arrangements for all delinquent accounts by communicating through calls or letters Updating account information Delivering quality cardholder service by assisting in preventing charge-off and repaying bad debt balances, avoiding confrontation and assisting with problems not directly involved in collections Understanding and abiding by all credit policies, account payment terms, collection systems and various state and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing credit and collections Contributing to group problem solving and morale Displaying quality cardholder service during the collections process by anticipating and being open to resolving any cardholder service issues that might arise Recognizing different account situations and adjusting collection techniques Providing additional support for other Target Financial Service call center functions Using Total Systems software package to assist cardholders with accounts Job RequirementsMinimum Requirement:High school diploma or equivalent Ability to type 25 WPM Strong guest service, decision making, analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented Independent and self-motivated to meet and exceed prescribed goals Good interpersonal skills Minimum of six months of collections experience Desired Requirements:4-year college degree PC and Windows experience Previous guest service experience Previous bankcard experienceSee The Rewards Eligible team members will receive one of the best earnings packages anywhere, including competitive pay, all-around insurance coverage, 401(k), flexible scheduling, training and development and many other perks and benefits.
