Position DescriptionWe are seeking an equity market professional for the role of Associate/Director, Product Development group within Electronic Brokerage Services (EBS) group at FCMS. The role will focus on managing the transaction cost analysis (TCA) product set. The EBS Product Development Associate will play a large role in driving and shaping the development of FCMS’s equity electronic trading product suite. Technical skills are a must. The associate will work closely with Fidelity Brokerage Company Technology (FBCT), traders, financial engineering team, and clients to develop and deploy new products for FCMS’ diverse client base and internal traders. Primary Responsibilities Maintain and migrate Institutional Execution Quality (IEQ) product to new TCA platform. Generate ad-hoc post trade reports for clients Develop on-demand analytics tool for EBS Group and sales. Serve as subject matter expert on pre/post trade analytics, assigned vendor products, and EBS products. Generate new ideas and services for FCMS’ electronic trading products relating to TCA. Serve as product development lead/manager for select products which may include: TCA and vendor DMA/OMS products. Work closely with internal partners and financial engineering team to help automate post trade reporting Position requires client presentations, some travel. Product development associates will participate in the full product life cycle: proposal, technical development, documentation, training, and marketing. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years trading floor experience. Degree in computer science or other quantitative discipline. Skills and Knowledge: Familiar with electronic trading products: Algorithms, DMA/OMS’, ECNs, smart routing Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously. Proven, effective verbal and written communication skills appropriate to all levels of internal and customer audiences. Strong leadership abilities including the ability to project credibility and authority with cross-functional teams and strategic partners Strong technical abilities including experience with: Perl, SQL, excel, web-servers, Ability to think creatively, make logical conclusions, and critical decisions without direction.
