 Business Development Manager stationed in San Francisco 

 

A highly motivated self-starter to join our institutional sales team.  Reporting to the Regional Business Development Director, the qualified candidate will sell BCA's weekly strategy and daily online services to top-tier global investment banks, institutional money managers and pension funds.

 

Major job responsibilities include:

· Developing and retaining business with both existing and new clients. 

· Executing all stages of the product-specific sales cycle: from the initial phone contact to place trials through to the final closing. 

· Striving to achieve well-defined prospecting and sales targets.

· Ability to understand and discuss research views with existing clients and prospects.

· Ability to make presentations to CIOs, Pension Fund Managers, Money Market Managers, etc.

 

Other Requirements:

· Experience in the investment and financial services industry

· Undergraduate degree, preferably in commerce, finance or economics

· A demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, gain commitment, and develop relationships in a capacity transferable to a sales environment.

· Assertive, flexible and excellent interpersonal skills.

· Sound business and professional ethics.

· A strong commitment to teamwork.

· A drive and commitment to attaining results.

· Excellent spoken and written English
