Northern VA career opportunity.  Our client is a global Fortune 500 organization. 

In this leadership role you will be providing and managing administration services supporting the HR benefits, welfare, and retirement programs.  Strong detail will be placed on ensuring plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations including, but not limited to: ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, and FMLA. 

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of overall experience within a corporate environment. Overall, must have strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.  This is a phenomenal opportunity to be apart of a growing organization!

 

Essential Benefits Manager Skills & CharacteristicsBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of benefits administrationManagement experience of at least 1-2 years Must have a strong understanding of the benefit programs as a business partner within a corporate environmentMust have knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting benefit, health, retirement functions and ensuring policies, and procedures are in complianceSarbanes Oxley experience is a plusStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skillsExceptional communication & interpersonal skills, ability to effectively interface with all levels of staff, and thrive in a fast paced growing environment
