Billing Analyst Summary

 

Our client, a financial services firm, is searching for a Billing Analyst. This position is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of all necessary billing cycle activities to deliver accurate and effective client billing information. The responsibilities of this position include assisting with the monthly invoice process and ensuring all necessary documentation, including contracts, addendums, service changes, and price schedules, are received for new customers and changes to existing customers.



 

Billing Analyst Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport the monthly reporting of billed revenue to the Revenue Accounting Group and audit billing invoices to ensure accuracy.Provide reports as requested and establish and maintain a good working relationship with internal clients. Maintain responsibility for reviewing and approving all billing cycles.Investigate and resolve billing operations issues within the billing process. Work closely with Accounts Receivable to resolve collections issues, and will perform month-end billing cycle information and ad hoc reporting.

No Medical Billers, pleaseFour year degree in Finance or Accounting preferred Financial Services experience is a plusExcellent communications, analytical and presentation skillsMust be a self-starter and results-orientedAbility to adapt to a changing work environmentAbility to multi-task and work in a dynamic work environmentDetailed orientedKnowledge of Excel and Word; experience with databases (Access)
