Billing Specialist

OVERVIEW: Prepare and process property tax invoices generated to customers/investors on a timely basis.  RESPONSIBLITIES:  The Billing Specialist’s main responsibilities are: · Upload billing file onto the Lease Accounting System (AS400)· Review Accounts Receivable batch for property tax billings· Provide supporting documentation for property tax invoices· Maintain database of Special Handling requests · Support Collection Department by providing appropriate back-up· Regenerate personal property tax invoices per Customer requests· Review Investor property tax invoices and post back-up onto an Excel spreadsheet to facilitate manual invoices prepared by Accounts Receivable Dept. · Assist Tax Manager in Property Tax Reconciliation· Support Tax Dept. with special projects as needed  THE SELECTION CRITERIA FOR THIS POSITION ARE:   *Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred      *Strong computer skill (Excel/Word/Access)   *Working knowledge of Macros a plus   *Attention to detail/accuracy   *Problem solving skills   *Responsive to customer requests   *Ability to organize and follow-up    *Good communication skills   http://www.careers.macquarie.com/jobDetails.asp?sJobIDs=429034&sReferrer=home&lApplicationSubSourceID=&lLocationID=6095&lLocationGroupID_Expand=4&sJobNo=429034&sKeywords=429034&lSkillTypeID=5&stp=WEBSITE&sLanguage=en
