Business Development Analsyt

COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Founded in 1999, FSV Payment Systems is a leading provider of host-based stored value and prepaid card solutions. The company offers host-based prepaid cards and automated ePayment solutions, including applications for payroll, employee benefits, government benefits, gift cards, travel and promotions, loyalty, and incentives.  TITLE: Business Development Analyst

 DESCRIPTION: This position supports the new business development efforts of FSV by providing activities critical to the operation and success of the Sales and Client Development organizations.  This individual will work closely with FSV’s EVP and other Sales and Client Development personnel to provide ongoing reporting and analysis, handle new business inquiries, coordinate responses to RFPs and RFIs, maintain and update sales databases, and perform other duties as required.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Defines, collects, and consolidates sales and other relevant information  into periodic and ad hoc management reports and distributes to designated executives and Sales and Client Development personnel

· Receives all inquiries from prospective clients and potential business partners (via telephone, email, FSV weblinks, trade shows, etc.), researches the opportunities, assigns them to appropriate Sales personnel, and tracks and reports the status of all assigned inquiries

· Works with Sales and Client Development personnel to coordinate the completion of RFP and RFI responses, including tracking down appropriate information and making sure all critical tasks are completed and on time

· Maintains key sales data bases (including ACT, SharePoint, Hoovers), making sure all documents are current and well organized

· Manages trade show booth schedules and may provide additional support as required

· Coordinates sales force training

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

· 2 - 3 years business experience, preferably in sales administration or project management; experience working with clients or prospective clients a plus

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Excel

· Excellent oral, written and analytical skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Occasional travel required

 

· EDUCATION: BA degree or equivalent experience
