Business Insurance Training Director
This position will have responsibility for partnering with Business Insurance Service Operations management to set the strategic training direction for Business Insurance Training, ensuring alignment with the businesses strategy and growth initiatives.Accountabilities include: Setting strategic direction, leading and directing key training initiatives for Business Insurance Service Operations (Select, Middle Market, Specialty), including the development, marketing and execution of all training programs and initiatives. Generating and managing the Business Insurance Training operating plan and budget. Consulting with the businesses to assess organizational needs and determine appropriate training. Ensuring that training solutions are appropriate, cost effective, flexible, current and business appropriate. Creating non-traditional and blended approaches to learning through training opportunities to ensure that employees at all levels receive the right training, at the right time, offered in the right medium. Selecting and developing top talent for Service Operations Training & Development Building a high performing Business Insurance training team and driving for effective and efficient execution. Leading and managing the work activities, performance and development of staff. Assessing the need to leverage external resources and manages negotiations. All training produced and introduced by the Director will incorporate measurement and assessments of learning goals and programs will be modified regularly to reflect optimal results.
This position resides in Home Office and reports to the AVP for Service Operations Training & Development.Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced environment Strong strategic thinker Highly customer focused, handling multiple priorities at once Proven negotiation skills in working closely with management and senior leadership Strong communication and facilitation skills Solid business acumen and can drive training to make a positive business impact Strong coaching and management skills 3-5 years of insurance experience Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree desireable.
