Purpose of Position:

Hitachi Consulting’s Pacific Southwest practice is currently experiencing growth, and we are looking for strong individuals to add to our team.  Due to our continued success we are seeking qualified candidates who are interested in playing key roles in leading and participating in consulting engagements in a variety of target areas.

 

 

We are seeking individuals with following skills:

 

· Bachelor's degree

· Accounting/Finance – Basic understanding of financial statements, book close process and analytics. 

· Data Analytics – MS Access, data query tools (SQL,Queryman) OLAP tools (Hyperion Essbase, Cognos, or Business Objects)

· Process documentation and internal controls experience

· Some exposure to activity based costing

· Finance transformation experience

· Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation.

· Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)

· General consulting skills, including: team facilitation and business case development.

· Ability to travel up to 80-100%

 

Technical Skills needed:

 

· 3+ years Data Analytics – MS Access, data query tools (SQL,Queryman) OLAP tools (Hyperion Essbase, Cognos, or Business Objects)

· 3+ years Accounting/Finance – Basic understanding of financial statements, book close process and analytics. 

· Experience with OBIEE a PLUS

· Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio.
