Don't miss an opportunity to join Edward Jones' first class HR leadership team. Our team is expanding to meet the needs of our firm's phenomenal growth. We are looking for an HR Business Unit Leader to partner with the leadership team in the division he/she supports, counseling them on human resources issues, providing insight and options compliant with legislation and consistent with Edward Jones philosophies and culture.Responsibilities 1)Offers input to, supports development of and executes human resources strategies within assigned division(s) in support of business objectives. 2) Develops and administers HR programs and processes integrating the efforts of the various HR division functional areas (recruiting, compensation, LOE, etc.). 3) Counsel division leaders on human resources issues, providing insight and options compliant with legislation and consistent with Jones philosophies and culture. 4) Guide and counsel associates on employment issues, helping them to understand their role, and providing guidance on personal and professional growth.Requirements 7 or more years relevant experience in increasingly responsible HR roles including a minimum 2 in a leadership capacity and 5 years HR Generalist experience preferred. Undergraduate degree in related field required, advanced degree ¿ MBA or MILR (Masters in Industrial Labor Relations) or related area - preferred. Senior HR certification considered a strong plus. Strong communication and presentation skills Foundation understanding of compensation theory and application, recruiting systems and best practices, employment law, ADR models, Organizational Development theory and application, motivation theory and application principles, change management theory and application principles, understanding of HIS applications. MUST have a comprehensive understanding of how these component parts of HR integrate in providing holistic solutions and be able to facilitate business leaders in their implementation.Submit an online resume for prompt consideration for this opportunity.
