CA-MICS Administrator - GTI (Band 4)

Job Responsibilities: Ensure the correct operation of the CA-MICS database.  Apply maintenance and improve the performance of the jobs.  Work with Scheduling and SWAT as well as the vendor Computer Associates.  In addition, work with the various input sources and users of the data.As part of the Mainframe Performance group there is an opportunity to learn performance analysis and to create reports using the MICS database.Qualifications: Detailed knowledge of the CA-MICS database and processing.Familiarity with JCL and scheduling procedures.  Ability to maintain the CA-MICS system both by monitoring the daily, weekly, and monthly processing and the ability to apply vendor supplied maintenance in a timely and correct manner.  Knowledge of SAS is a plus.Familiarity with scheduling, release management, and problem management procedures at Merrill Lynch.
