CISCO Technician

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   Testing and auditing of equipment to determine physical and mechanical condition for all types of equipment received at the Technical Center.  Direct troubleshooting of technical issues for all types of equipment by means of on-board diagnostics and logical deduction.  Responsible for handling end user or broker customer warranty claims; work with customer to identify or determine the technical issue with the goal of resolving the claim to the satisfaction of the customer.  Responsible for performing equipment installations, both in-house and at customer sites.   Reconfigure equipment based on customer configuration requirements. Have the ability to upgrade manufacturer firmware and hardware as required.   Have the ability to identify counterfeit and non-standard equipment. Responsible for reviewing and having the ability to understand manufacturer policies, support documentation and tools for specific product lines.  Work with manufacturer support on-line and on the telephone as necessary.    THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:  CCNA certification.  2-5 years technical experience, including 1-year experience on Cisco or related equipment.  Strong written and oral communication skills.  Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.  Self-directed with the ability to perform selected projects without supervision in the field and at the Technical Center.  Must be able to lift or move a minimum of 30 lbs and be able to stand and bend for extended periods of time. Click below to apply:  http://www.careers.macquarie.com/
