COMPLIANCE ANALYST

This Compliance Analyst will join a dynamic team of analysts whose primary responsibility is to complete all annual testing /reporting expected of the Compliance Department, including Contribution Nondiscrimination Tests (CNT's), Projection CNT's, 5500 filing for small plans, 5500 and audit preparation for large plans, and Top Heavy Testing.



 

Key Responsibilities:

 

*  Prepare and analyze all 401(k) Plan CNT's, both Prior and Current Testing Year Methods; including but not limited to Union Plan Testing, inclusion of Discretionary Match, calculating of QNECs, as well as New and Transfer In Plan Testing.  Prepare all small plan 5500's for electronic filing.  Prepare and compile large plan audit reports.  Work with internal and external auditors to ensure completion of large plan filings to the DOL within the guaranteed time standards for the company.

 

* Prepare, perform and evaluate all Projection Data to Plan Sponsors.

* Determine Top Heavy status of all plans and implement all required changes/billing for Top Heavy Plans.

* Evaluate and prepare responses to DOL reject letters and inquiries prior to submission.Complete ICTRs and Client inquiries as assigned.

 

 

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

College Degree or equivalent training.  Experience processing Contribution Nondiscrimination Tests, audit preparation reports, and 5500 filings.  Knowledge and experience administering Defined Contribution Retirement Plans, which encompasses a broad knowledge of retirement plan rules and regulations.Experience with OMNI a plus.  Proficient with MS Word and Excel.  Excellent written communication and organizational skills.  Must be able to work independently.
