Chief Investment Officer

Our client is a reputable, South Florida based, 100 year old, owner and investor of multi-family and commercial properties nationally.  They have recently reformulated their strategic and long-range business plan resulting in several key initiatives to include the addition of a Chief Investment Officer.

 

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversees the investment strategy with the Board of Directors, Shareholders, Advisors and other Senior Company Executives.

· Develops and executes specific target market and property-specific investment strategies that achieve maximum value creation.

· Communicates the investment strategy to all Stakeholders.

· Reviews annual asset operating plans and budgets to ensure consistency with the investment strategies.

· Monitors the performance of owned assets against approved annual operating plans and budgets.

· Performs exemplary underwriting and due diligence before presenting potential investment opportunities to the Investment Committee.

· Maintains a pipeline of potential investment opportunities.

· Oversees all acquisitions staff, financial analysts and others associated with executing the investment strategy.

· Represents the Company in its capacity as a partner in joint ventures, non-fund ventures and other investments.

· Reviews and recommends all pricing for asset sales.

· Participates in all Investor calls and communications.

· Prepares sell/hold analyses on a regular basis.

· Develops and sustains valued relationships with producing Strategic Partners.
