If you are ready to drive your career forward, join our winning team. Collateral Officer Oversees and manages inventory at assigned auctions. Responsible for selling units at the highest amount of value available within the market, turnover inventory at predetermined objectives, recondition units as required, validate insurance claims and coordinate sales efforts with Auctions. Provides and maintains reports as directed. Be knowledgeable of Policies and Procedures applicable to Remarketing activities and comply with P&P, as directed. RESPONSIBILITIES - Reconciles inventory for availability and location of product. - Establishes vehicles' book value. - Determines market value for vehicle. - Analyze vehicle condition reports prior to sale and manages reconditioning in compliance with Policy and Procedure. - Generates reports to convey sales percentages and results to Management. - Assists internal associates in determining market values of units. - Provides excellent customer service at all points of customer contact, internally and externally. - Exemplify Wachovia Dealer Services' Core Values in all actions and words and adhere to Company policies and procedures. - Comply with Federal and State Guidelines for timely sales of product. - Obtain the highest sale price available in the wholesale market per unit. - Communicate with Internal/External sources. - Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS - High School diploma or equivalent certificate required. - Typically requires applicable four year degree or equivalent. - Typically requires three or more years of experience in Vehicle Remarketing (Wholesale environment). - Proficient PC Skills (Word, Excel and typing skills of 30 wpm).
