Commissions Manager

Description:Duties:- Manages the daily administration of Sales Compensation plans. - Partners with Sales Management to understand and best administer existing and new sales plans.- Assists with the new sales compensation plan training with management and sales forces.- Manages daily commission help desk process addressing commission calculations and payment disputes raised by sales forces- Manages special sales incentive programs and initiatives as they relate to new commission pay practices.- Builds Commission plan calculations in Oracle database and Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC) system.- Creates and develops reports in Oracle database to fill senior management requests- Creates adhoc reports as requiredWork environment:- Works with limited supervision.- Exercises discretion regarding exceptions to standard compensation policy and how best to program systems for compensation payments- Limited standard procedures for position- Internal contacts: Works with senior management, sales management, sales employees, HR, compensation and payroll.- Mistakes in compensation plan calculations create errors in compensation payments that potentially have legal implications as well as employee morale issues.Qualifications:Education:- 4 year degree in Accounting, Finance, or BusinessExperience:- 5-8 years experience in finance, sales compensation admin or database management- Advanced working knowledge of system, database ( Oracle database and/ or Oracle Incentive Compensation system )- Strong knowledge of Accounting, Payroll and Compensations policies and procedures- Strong knowledge of Sales practices, products and structure- Strong organizational, problem solving and verbal and written communications skills- Working knowledge of SQL and FOCUSSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Melville, NYJob Number: 2460BRCompany URL: http://www.firstdata.com/careersCompany Profile:At First Data Corporation, we make buying and selling easier.
