Commodity Broker

We are hiring Commodity Brokers for our Pompano Beach branch.  Alaron Trading is a Chicago-based futures commission merchant with a highly diversified client base. We offer managed futures, full service, broker assist and self-directed trading accounts. Alaron’s vision is to provide financial services that fulfill the dreams of our lifelong customers.

Position Summary:

 

Responsible for generating leads and new business for Alaron.  Also responsible for building, maintaining and expanding client relationships

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Uncovering opportunities through proactive calling to targeted account listFollow-up on leads generated from website inquiries and e-marketing campaignsQualify leads to identify customer requirements and apply appropriate solutionsAchieve/exceed monthly sales targets Negotiate and close business

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 Experience in commodities industry, with knowledge of Futures terminology and trading platformsSeries 3 license preferredExcellent written and oral communication skillsMust be a team-player who is able to multi-task on a regular basisMust be available to work during market hoursStrong computer skills including Word, Excel and OutlookStrong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasksAbility to work independently, in a team environment, and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.Positive attitude, professional appearance and manner
