Communications and Training Specialist

OVERVIEW:

Radian has embarked on an aggressive plan to create and implement loss mitigation strategies and tactics that will reduce credit losses. The Communications and Training Specialist will develop and promote successful execution by superb creation, packaging and delivery of these loss mitigation initiatives to mortgage servicers, GSE’s, trading partners, borrowers and community-based groups.

The successful candidate will coordinate these efforts with Sales and Marketing so that there is brand consistency. It will also be important for this person to maximize the value-added nature of these programs in an effort to create competitive advantage for Radian.

The Communications and Training specialist will implement the design, development and delivery of all communication materials and relieve other operational resources from these tasks so that they may focus on activities more directly related to credit-loss savings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating promotional materials for loss management in concert with Sales and Marketing.

Creating targeted-presentation materials for meetings with mortgage servicers.

Accompanying Account Managers to present information related to RDN loss mitigation programs.

Assist in creating the RDN Loss Mitigation Training Program for mortgage default servicers which will include Computer-Based Training media (CBT).

Conduct on-site and lead CBT loss mitigation training for mortgage default servicers.

Act as a resource and communication link to the Sales force on all claims and loss mitigation information.

Coordinate, attend and present at national and regional mortgage servicing conferences and focus groups.

Assist in preparing internal and external presentation materials for both EVP and Sr. VP of Loss Management.

Create computer based internal training program for the loss management department as a whole and the various sub-departments within: SIU; Claims and Loss Mitigation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing preferred.

At least two years of mortgage servicing related experience with emphasis in problem loan management.

Windows and Microsoft office competency.

Excellent written and oral and interpersonal communications skills.

Ability to create multimedia training materials.

Excellent group presentation skills.

Ability to work among a variety of business units and different levels of
employee both internally and externally.

At least 25% travel will be required.
