Compliance Auditor

The role of the Compliance Auditor includes conducting on-site audits of a nationwide retail mortgage loan origination branch network for the purpose of monitoring the overall production quality and conformance to all compliance related issues.  Responsibilities would include:  Prioritizing, planning, and conducting field visits to all retail loan origination offices; interviewing office managers and staff while identifying any potential issues such as areas of weaknesses and making recommendations to senior management for corrective actions; enforcing compliance with company policies and federal regulations inclusive of RESPA, Fair Lending, Fair Credit, Privacy, TILA; completing written reports on field visit and loan audit results while establishing adequate follow up measures for corrective actions; reviewing a selection of loans during field visits for QC monitoring purposes; performing trend analyses and making recommendations for corrective measures; assist office managers with various questions by serving as the company liaison for compliance related issues.  Job entails approximately 80% travel. Candidate must possess the ability to evaluate processes, identify problems, and identify creative solutions to failed procedures and/or processes.  Excellent communication and documentation skills.  Proficient in Microsolf Excel and Access.  Competive benefits package
