Copy Operator

First and Second shift available Purpose of the Position   The Copy Operator is responsible for the completing projects within deadlines, providing excellent customer service, Quality Checking documents before they are returned to the requestors and daily maintenance and cleaning of copy equipment.   Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to)   Responsible for the completion of copy and print projects in a timely manner as required by the client.   The Copy Operator is responsible for maintaining relationships with the client and providing excellent customer service.   The Copy Operator maintains the equipment, by making sure it is free of paper jams, clips, staples and other obstructions. The Copy Operator is the first responder to walk-up copier issues, if it cannot be corrected, the Copy Operator will let the Manager know and will place a service call.   Responsible for recording all information necessary to bill back appropriately for each copy or print job produced.   The Copy Operator will follow all workflow procedures making sure that jobs are logged in properly and when completed the appropriate information is recorded and the job is logged out properly.   Work produced in Print Services is to be quality checked before it is returned to the client.   The Copy Operator will operate all Print Services equipment, including copiers, printers, computers, drill press, paper cutter, and binding equipment.   The Copy Operator will also be willing to pick up and deliver projects when necessary.   The Copy Operator will also provide other document related services as requested in including Bates Labeling.   The Copy Operator will make sure that the copiers throughout the firm have enough stock of paper and supplies and will replenish these supplies as needed.     Typical Requirements • Able to lift 50 lbs. • Previous Office Services/Copy experience • High School Graduate (GED) • Copier Machine knowledge Special Skills: • Handle multiple tasks. • Good interpersonal skills. • Good organizational skills. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Outstanding punctuality/attendance record.
