Credit Analyst
Credit Analyst Our client, a prestigious law firm, located in Downtown Boston is currently seeking an experienced analyst to perform routine risk assessments on new and existing clients! Ideal candidates must be proactive, have strong communication skills, and come with 3+ years of related experience in a professional services environment! Job responsibilities: Perform risk analysis on new and current clients utilizing Dun and Bradstreet data Communicate directly with all levels internally regarding credit worthiness of potential clients Recommend retainers for high-risk clients and work closely with partner to secure retainers as necessary Compile and distribute monthly reports to partners and attorneys Research client billing history, providing data when requested Monthly account reviews with accounting manager/partners, including rate agreements, billing protocol, and other special requirements Coordinate with cash department to resolve payment questions Other special projects as requested by accounting manager and/or attorneys Maintain the highest level of confidentiality for all financial informationJob requirements: Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related business field strongly preferred Must possess the ability to acquire advanced understanding of law firm concepts 3-5 years credit experience required, preferably in a service billing environment Advanced working knowledge of Elite and Dun & Bradstreet RAM highly desired Advanced problem solving skills, with the ability to be the “go to” person with complex issues Comfortable in working in a very fast paced environment, multi-tasking is a must! Team focus with the ability to work well with others across other departments Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Must have the ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlinesMust be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel.
