DIRECTOR/MANAGER OF ONLINE MARKETING
We are recruiting an extraordinary marketing mind with the passion and creativity to capture the attention of consumers with debt. You must grasp, at an expert level, – online marketing (direct response, traffic and customer acquisition).

This position is for a talented individual to manage and execute Debtmerica’s online marketing strategy. Currently the firm utilizes several different channels of marketing including pay-per-click advertising with all major search engines, SEO/SEM, and contextual advertising on major sites which include names such as MSNBC.com, CBS.com, and Forbes.com.

This role will be managing the current marketing strategy as well as expanding it to other forms of online media, including: interstitial advertising, video, in-text advertising, and additional verticals in the contextual advertising space. The marketing budget is set to exceed $250K per month by the end of Q2 2008.
The position will be working heavily on setting up advertising campaigns with search engines at the expert, hands-on level. A sound knowledge of landing page design (A/B testing methods) for lead generation is also a huge concentration of the role.

Any individual with experience limited only to reading/analyzing reports and directing others (such as advertising agencies, third-party analysts, or members of a team) as to budget requirements and goals does not qualify for the position. We ARE NOT looking for someone that lacks the direct hands-on experience of delivering effective online marketing campaigns. The Director/Manager of Online Marketing will work directly with the CEO to optimize all marketing campaigns and will assist with setting strategy and adjusting to changes in market dynamics.

Instead of just lowering interest rates (like credit counseling), or shifting unsecured debt to secured debt (like a debt consolidation loan), Debtmerica is pioneering the innovative process of actually reducing the total amount of unsecured debt that consumers owe. Debtmerica succeeds by leveraging relationships and scale with creditors to negotiate down each individual consumer's debt balance and payments. However, not everyone qualifies for their "Debt Reduction Program". They stringently qualify and underwrite their customers, and only accept consumers that meet their guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• MUST HAVE hands-on experience optimizing web-based marketing campaigns  with Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask.com, and other major websites and search engines capable of delivering ads effectively.

• You should be a self-starter and motivated to succeed. Excellence should be a key driver.

• Possess a strong marketing foundation based on analytics and is savvy in understanding how marketing analytics (customer acquisition costs, performance metrics, website traffic metrics, e-mail marketing response metrics etc.) reflect the success of the marketing strategy.

• Able to demonstrate a solid history of writing and testing creatives.

• Proves to have an expert understanding of customer acquisition, and direct response online marketing.

• Possess a solid online marketing background and have demonstrated success with metrics.

• You must be exceptionally smart, and be able to leverage analytics to drive marketing efforts.

• You will need to create innovative, highly relevant, accountable, and untraditional marketing strategies.

EDUCATION

• BA/BS highly preferred and strongly suggested.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

Debtmerica offers a competitive base salary of 72K – 90K (depending on experience and ability) plus a competitive bonus plan. We also offer full medical/dental/vision coverage as well as 401(k) and Roth 401(k) options.
