Daily Investigator

Position Description: (day-to-day responsibilities and deliverables)

The daily investigator position entails the regular review of computer reports and database information to detect violations of Exchange rules. It also entails occasionally working in a fast-paced team oriented environment. This position involves communicating with other departments and companies to obtain relevant information, evaluating that information and occasional interviews of witnesses and subjects. Also responsible for writing investigative reports and making recommendations for case disposition.

Requirements

Qualifications:

The requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: College degree or 5-7 years or futures or securities work experience required.Thorough knowledge of futures market operations, including trading mechanics, practices, rules and regulations required. Knowledge of trading firm back office procedures preferred.Proven analytical ability and good written/oral communication skills a must.Experience with Microsoft Office necessary.Experience working with databases or other computer systems a plus.Must be detail-oriented and possess the professionalism to interact with all levels of personnel in a variety of circumstances.Writing sample will be required.
