Click here to learn more about Scottrade.The Information Analyst Reporting candidate will focus on development, support, and maintenance of enterprise reports. The Analyst has the ability to work with other individuals within the reporting group as well as within development. This hands-on position requires a strong background in data mining and reporting.Duties and Responsibilities: Basic understanding of technologies, procedures, and concepts within specialized area Dedicates the majority of their time to the maintenance and support of applications already in production Attends staff and departmental meetings Provides status updates to Team Leaders Adherence to pre-defined programming standards set by Application Architects Creates documentation using established PMO standards Maintains technical knowledge through training or other measures Performs unit testing and assists in user testing of programming modifications Translates high-level requirements into detailed technical designs Provides technical estimates Develops and maintains effective partnerships with Scottrade product development and business teams in order to understand and anticipate their needs, the business environment, other challenges and opportunities Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays Coordination with multiple internal and external groups Creates and maintains reports and reporting environment Monitors group mailbox to provide end-user support and identify new and/or updates to reports Monitors application and storage servers which support report technologies Other projects/duties as assigned Required Skills Skills in multiple reporting packages (e.g. Microsoft Reporting Services, Monarch, DataWatch, etc.) required Thorough understanding of database design and schemas required Basic understanding of ETL tools and processes required Solid understanding of current application and trends in data warehousing and reporting required Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers and all Scottrade associates, and by having a positive attitude Required Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor degree in MIS/Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred Scottrade, Inc., an equal opportunity employer, is committed to inclusion and a diverse workforce.
