Exciting opportunity to join a Boston financial services firm as a Database Programmer / Reporting Analyst. This position supports the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of new and existing business systems. The Reporting Analyst will serve as the lead programmer on the design team tasked with streamlining data management and reporting. The Database Programmer / Reporting analyst will also: Support the mission critical weekly reporting cycleWork directly with internal teams to define and document reporting and automation requirementsDesign and develop database solutions and reportsProvide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to existing commercial and in-house business applications/databasesPlan and implement enterprise solutions including web portal, document management, human resources information system, and Accounting



The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, or Computer Science and 2-3 years experience as a programmer, systems analyst, or business analyst. Experience with Private Equity industry specific solutions preferred. Additional qualifications include: Experience with SQL Server 2005, Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, Visual Studio and the .NET framework Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycleStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven track record of personal and professional growth and developmentStrong attention to detail



Salary will be $80-90K
