Database Programmer / Reporting Analyst

JOB PURPOSE:

 

Audax Group is experiencing tremendous growth.  In this newly created role, the Database Programmer / Reporting Analyst will support the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of new and existing business systems.  Serve as the lead programmer on the design team tasked with streamlining data management and reporting.  Support the mission critical weekly reporting cycle.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Work directly with internal teams to define and document reporting and automation requirements.  Design and develop database solutions and reports to meet requirements.Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to existing commercial and in-house business applications and databases.Participate in the planning and implementation of enterprise solutions including web portal, document management, human resources information system, and Accounting. Assist the Customer Support Services team by providing tier II and III support on business systems.Operate within tight deadlines to deliver high quality code and report enhancements, fully documenting all work.

 

TECHNOLOGY QUALIFICATIONS:Database development experience with Microsoft Technologies, both SQL Server 2005 and Microsoft Access.  High proficiency with SQL.Proficiency working with report writers including Microsoft Access, and Crystal Reports.Experience with Visual Studio and the .NET framework.Microsoft Office automation using Visual Basic for Applications, with emphasis on Excel macros and enhancing Microsoft Access forms.Experience with Private Equity industry specific solutions preferred.Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycle.
