In accordance with headquarters’ and site-mandated directives, achieves the goals and tasks that support the business’ short and long-term strategies. This position will work with their peers to develop and support effective strategies that maximize the utilization of all available resources and are consistent across all similar functions. Essential Functions1. Performs managerial duties including interviewing and making hiring decisions; recommending salary adjustments and promotions; providing all employees with proper training and career development; handling disciplinary actions and making termination decisions.2. Works with Headquarters and Operations Center Management to strategically assess training and development needs within the Center. Establishes priorities and manages departmental direction based on those needs and corporate goals.3. Measures and monitors the quality, effectiveness, and production of all their employees. Exceed established departmental efficiencies and benchmarks.4. Develop and implement employee development initiatives that support the organization’s and functional area’s strategic objectives.5. Create an atmosphere that encourages and recognizes creativity.SKILLSRequired: Superior oral and written communication skills. Proven leadership skills. Must have the ability to turn strategic goals into tactical initiatives. Must have call center experience. Must have the ability to work weekends, holidays, and be on call when necessary.
