Derivative Operations Senior Specialist

· Review deal tickets against broker ticket after booking trade. Review deal tickets against client confirms. Ensure all trade details are correct

· Resolve any contract issue in source systems by updating the systems and trades.

· Ensure timely AR/AP's and reconcile AR/AP items within 7 days. Provide details to finance on any discrepancies/problems

· Check out with clients on a timely basis. Resolve all discrepancies prior to settlement. Amend source system, if necessary

· Invoice and send/receive invoice by

· Approve settlements in cash system

· Review all broker bills and match to trades before invoicing

· Collaborate with system support

· Investigate and resolve internal/external customer inquiries using source system, appropriate documentation, and inter-related areas

· Allocate time efficiently and prioritize tasks within the client services and documentation areas of the energy business

· Streamline process to enhance control and efficiency

 

Derivative Client Services settlements team confirms and settles payments with institutional and corporate clients globally, along with researching and resolving trade discrepancies and AR/AP if they occur. The products will include Debt, Credit and Commodity derivatives. Due to the high volume of settlements, 3-4 years of client services or documentation experience in interest rate swaps is required.
