Responsibilities: The Wachovia Dealer Services Director of Finance and Planning is responsible for the integrity of Wachovia Dealer Services financial systems, consolidated planning and management reporting. These responsibilities include overseeing two groups, one responsible for consolidated budget and forecasting of multiple business divisions and the other responsible for financial systems strategy and support for Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) and Hyperion Essbase. Reporting to the CFO of Wachovia Dealer Services, this senior leader collaborates with Information Technology, Corporate Accounting, Wachovia Dealer Services Tax & Treasury function, and other Corporate and General Banking Group partners to enhance financial management activities and data integrity through effective and efficient system strategies and reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate and work in concert with Wachovia Corporate Finance and General Banking Group Finance to develop financial systems and reporting strategy, including design, development, documentation and validation of processes, and other models and reports as needed. The senior leader will also work with Wachovia Dealer Services senior leaders and project managers ensuring business changes are accurately reflected in financial systems and reporting activities. Finally, this senior leader will support business goals and financial management activities by providing insightful analysis and recommendations supporting accomplishment of business objectives. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior financial management role with responsibility for Hyperion financial systems. Significant experience with financial system implementation, integration and reporting, including experience developing business requirements, data management and warehousing, system configuration, testing and support. Masters degree in Business, Finance or Information Systems. Certified Public Accountant certification a plus.
