Director, Internal Account Servicing

Genesis Financial Solutions is a rapidly growing specialty consumer finance company, located in Portland, Oregon. Run by an entrepreneurial management team with deep experience in specialty lending, Genesis provides credit cards, student loans, and other financing to underserved consumer groups. We are seeking an exceptional Director of Internal Account Services who craves ownership, exhibits discipline, and is driven to help lead our organization to success.

 

DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct day to day operational activities of the department including capacity planning, staffing, inventory management, queue control, and process management.Drive process improvements to gain efficiencies in production operations.Work jointly with the director of external account services to provide seamless servicing across all sites.Develop scalable processes in transaction services and consumer lending to assure that growth objectives can be met in a timely fashion.Analyze and resolve trends in Fraud activities, particularly as it relates to unsecured credit card products.Manage projects across multiple disciplines such as IT, Risk, Marketing and Business Development.Focus on quality service delivery both in terms of customer treatment as well as compliance with appropriate regulations.Support training through the development of Unit Managers within the department to mentor and coach staff for excellence.Assure that all processes within the area of responsibility are properly documented and followed.Special projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelors degree in Business, Economics or related field or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 years management experience in Call Center operations (including Care and Collections) and support functions.Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.Excellent organization and planning skills.Must maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality.Thoroughly computer literate.Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines is essential.
