The data is used to price Fidelity's Mutual Funds, Active Trader Pro, Fidelity.com, Brokerage Trading, National Financial, Fidelity Capital Markets, among others. Position DescriptionFidelity Market Data (FMD) is charged with providing robust real-time data technology solutions for market quoting, charting, and news access through the entire Fidelity enterprise. This role manages both the strategic and tactical deliverables of FMD’s Data Content team. You will manage all Client and Product initiatives from a Data Content perspective, including but not limited to client enhancements, product improvements and strategic direction.  Interfacing with the internal FMD team, customer executives and our technical partners is essential.  The ability to show initiative and creatively solve problems in a complex matrixed environment is required. Primary Responsibilities Define and implement the next generation Market Data content. Lead the Data Content team providing project deliverables and strategic oversight. Collaborate as needed with other service providers and vendors on product related issues. Facilitate and lead in the development of a Data Content program that monitors and verifies all aspects of market data whether received from external sources or derived internally. Work on projects to establish and improve the data quality process by employing best practices. Provide key data content requirements and design deliverables for client enhancements requested by internal Fidelity companies including eBusiness, Insurance, Brokerage, Mutual Fund Pricing, and Institutional trading divisions within Fidelity. Interface with various functions of the organization while working with internal and external vendors to provide time-sensitive data consulting and guidance, based on customer requirements. Education and Experience College degree or applicable work experience required. 10+ years experience with market data in a dynamic environment. 2+ or more years experience in a management role.  Skills and Knowledge Prior market data experience either inside or outside of Fidelity with a Series 6/7 license or CMT / CFA designation is preferred. Full project life cycle experience, and experience with Software Development Methodologies. Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with business and systems personnel is required. Demonstrated research and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated progression in career, as well as demonstrated leadership, change management and delivery capabilities.
