Increase and retain NASDAQ data revenue by managing sales efforts and providing value-added consultative services on all aspects of market data vendors’ and subscribers’ relationship with NASDAQ. Sales efforts are directed toward both distributors of NASDAQ market data and their subscribers.  Establish and maintain relationships with market data vendors and subscribers and act as a technical and financial liaison between vendors, subscribers and NASDAQ departments.

Essential Job Functions:

· At assigned vendor and subscriber firms, establish and maintain business and sales relationships with senior managers, directors of market data, market data users, and other market data industry executives.  Serve as a resource for distributors (both vendors and internal distributors) by providing consultation on NASDAQ’s datafeeds and vendor datafeed products as well as NASDAQ and SIP policies and procedures. Promote new NASDAQ products to generate revenue from vendors and subscribers.

· Develop and implement sales plans for NASDAQ distributed data products both to potential subscribers and through market data vendors.

· Manage market data product sales efforts to assigned subscriber firms.  Identify decision makers within firms and promote value of NASDAQ market data products to both managers and potential users of the products. Work in coordination with NTS Sales to reach targeted subscribers that are NASDAQ market participants.  Work in coordination with CCG to reach targeted subscribers that are NASDAQ issuers.  Provide consultative services regarding potential vendor choices that a subscriber faces in accessing NASDAQ data.

· Manage market data product sales efforts through assigned market data vendors to encourage the sale of NASDAQ products through the vendors’ services.  Ensure high levels of understanding of NASDAQ product offerings among vendor sales and customer services staff.  Pursue opportunities to create and edit sales and informational communications from vendors to their customers about NASDAQ products.  Identify co-marketing opportunities on a vendor-by-vendor basis.  Identify sales leads and contacts among vendors’ subscriber bases.

· Track sales and account management efforts (calls, meetings, trade show participation) through use of CRM tool(s)

· Identify new (unassigned) firms that might be potential vendors or subscribers of NASDAQ data products.

· Support development of new data products and enhancement of existing data products as liaison between assigned firms and NASDAQ product management staff.  Liaison activities include 1-1 polling of assigned firms regarding their opinion of product enhancements that are being considered by NASDAQ, pro-active communications to constituents about planned NASDAQ product changes, and regular feedback regarding what they hear from their contacts about their product needs.

· Participate in development and implementation of marketing communications strategy for distributed data products, ensuring that plans incorporate all relevant knowledge regarding vendor and subscriber views, behavior, and preferences.

· Represents NASDAQ in professional industry group meetings, seminars, and trade shows to further relationships with market data senior managers and provide visibility for NASDAQ’s market data products.

Other Job Functions:

· Provides strategic input for on-site review and other market data compliance programs.  Assists compliance managers with selection of on-site review candidates to maximize revenue and to ensure compliance with NASDAQ’s entitlement, display and monthly reporting guidelines.
