DescriptionThe Director is responsible for the overall management and administration of the credit and collections function. The Director implements effective collection and risk management practices and procedures within the Credit Department to achieve maximum cash flow, while providing adequate protection of the company’s investment in the accounts receivable asset. The Director implements processes and procedures to maximize collections for the corporation. He/she is responsible for budgeting for all departmental expenses and managing against that budget. The Director designs and implements departmental policies to ensure proper controls are in place and being followed.Required SkillsKey Responsibilities: * Fully responsible for the collection of approx $800 million in annual revenue * Manage a staff of 25 + * Selects and manages outside vendors (collection agencies, information research agencies, credit management companies, and collection software providers). * Sets goals, coaches, counsels, trains and educates, builds team, models behavior, delegates, support, provides incentives, recognizes and rewards, communicates, provides information, disciplines, and evaluates performance. * Manages and ensures overall call center agents' performance in an Aspect environment * Maintain aging results within established corporate objectives and goals * Establish Credit/Collections policies and procedures in compliance with State and Federal requirements. * Lead Cash Application team to assure timely, accurate posting of cash. Position Requirements Required Skills/Competencies: * Strong Aptitude for working in a multi system environment * Working knowledge of MS Office systems (Excel, Word, etc.) * Extensive contact with individuals inside and outside of the corporation requires the candidate to possess excellent communication and negotiation skills * Should possess working knowledge of bankruptcy proceedings. * Must possess strong time management skills, be self motivated and be able to motivate others to achieve results. * Must have 7 to 10 years management experience in an accounts receivable/collections environment * Experience in the Telecommunications field strongly preferred * Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial data/reports in order to make recommendations regarding strategic planning and company performance. * Solid understanding of commercial credit/collections regulations and practices * Experience working with Cross-functional teams * Ability to lead and make decisions within the company's defined order to cash cycle. *CBPlease apply online at the One Communications Careers Page. http://hostedjobs.openhire.com/epostings/jobs/submit.cfm?fuseaction=dspjob&jobid=258170&company_id=15738&jobboardid=24Thank you for your interest in One Communications.
