Department Description: Global Wealth Management (GWM) provides advice-based wealth management services and products to individual clients and to small and mid-size businesses. GWM serves its clients through a network of more than 16,000 financial advisors in nearly 700 offices around the world and the one-to-one relationships they develop with their clients.Job Responsibilities: The Director of E-Business will combine their experience in designing best-in-class websites with the breadth of what GWM has to offer to create industry leading solutions across all client segments. This individual will be responsible for working with GWM business owners to build channel specific, web-based offerings for Merrill Lynch clients. There will be an emphasis on embedding advice and guidance into the client experience. The Product Manager will also work closely with the rest of the online team to architect the strategy for and enhancements to Merrill Lynch Online. Specific responsibilities: · Develop an online strategy for each client segment in coordination with the business owner· Initial focus will be on creating innovative solutions for the mass affluent segment· Create best-in-class offerings that produce incremental revenue for GWM· Architect solutions that will best resonate with each client segment in an online environment · Serve as the conduit between various business owners and other online professionals as they build and enhance Merrill Lynch Online emphasizing the client experience· Build and manage a team that is focused on growing our online business Qualifications: Candidate should exhibit an entrepreneurial sprit and have the ability to think independently while building complex solutions that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders. Most importantly, the candidate must be a team player, self-motivated for success, and possess a professional and positive attitude.
