Director of Operations

Fast growing financial company in the Cincinnati area is looking for a Director of Operations to manage the trading department, account management and cash management operations.  The position directs both exempt and non-exempt staff while providing support operations for new accounts, mutual fund trading and disbursement functions.  Strong candidate would also have a background in banking trust operations or mutual fund back office operations.

Essential duties and responsibilities include: Support adviser network through the account management process Oversee trading operations and resolve issues as needed Manage projects and strategic initiatives designed to improve business processes Strong written, verbal and electronic communication skills Resolve customer satisfaction problems Provide input on the company website content and recommendations for improvement Manage the company recordkeeping system and other peripheral systems involved in operations processing Work cross-departmental issues involving new business/product development Develop detailed policies and procedures for the operation, including compliance related internal controls

This position manages a staff of four exempt and 22 non-exempt staff members on matters of scheduling, job training and job performance.Position also works with staff members on personal development and job growth.

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; 3-5 years financial services experience.  The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.  Experience with trust and mutual fund recordkeeping applications is a plus.
