IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimized and that the client experience is a pleasant one. Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively. It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

 

ECSG Client Service Analyst

 

Job Description

Provide support to DB equity clients, within the bank’s tier two and three Equity Client Service team.

The successful candidate will be required to:Act as point of contact for a number of the bank’s tier two and three equity clients.Assist clients in the navigation of end to end DB processes.Ensure that all client related issues, queries and requests are addressed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner, utilizing the Client Service toolset where applicable.Ensure that preventative measures are either taken where possible or, where further approval is required, escalated to the Client Service Manager to avoid recurrence of issues.Build good relationships with clients, possibly including client visits, for which feedback would be required.Record issues, analysis data, build and maintain benchmarks around call expectancy and liaise with the business areas / clients for core resolution on client queries.Develop close relationships with key operations service providers, for example, Transaction Management.



Skills RequiredFinancial services background or equivalent degree.Good IT skills, such as Windows XP, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.Motivated and proactive, with good use of initiative.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Thoroughness and attention to detail.Ability to multi-task and to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Ability to build and manage client relationships.Good time management, with the ability to maintain tight controls around resolution of queries, ensuring clients always receive good feedback. Show willingness to, and demonstrate experience of, consistent and accurate delivery to clients.Ability to recognize high risk situations and to escalate in a prompt manner.Analytical.A good team member who proactively builds positive working relationships with other team members.Competent understanding of structure within investment banking.Good Equities product knowledge (preferably with a knowledge of ETC / Oasys).Fluency in another European language would be an advantage.Minimum one year’s experience in the financial service industry or equivalent degree. Opportunity and ability to build good working relationships, both internally to DB and externally with clients. Good understanding of different functions within the investment banking industry and how this impacts our clients.Learn to work in a fast paced environment, while providing quality client service to our clients. Understanding of the DB Equities Client Service model. Full-time role to be completed between the hours of 8am and 6pm (exact start and finish times to be agreed at the outset).
