ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT

Encore Capital Group has an opportunity for an Enterprise Architect within our IT Department. This individual will provide technical direction and leadership to implement and maintain a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) strategy. Work with senior business analysts, product manager and software engineering team to develop a blueprint for implementing SOA enterprise applications.  They will build and maintain a highly flexible and consistent architecture, which includes distributed data, in-house and 3rd-party applications and systems integrations with internal and external partners. This individual will also build a long-term architectural roadmap and will work closely with internal team members to consistently bring guidance into enterprise design decisions.

Candidates should possess the following:BSEE or BS Computer Science or related disciplineAt least 7 years of relevant experience leading the design, development and delivery of an enterprise-wide technology architecture in a software engineering environment Expert knowledge of high performance distributed applications, strong direct experience with several distributed architecture s such as J2EE, CORBA, Web Services, DCOM, .NET, & RMI.Working knowledge of Java, XML, Database Design, OOD, Design Patterns, N-tier  Architectures, Application
