Purpose: Responsible for analysis, design and implementation of solutions that improve the productivity and quality of the Sales Accounting and Operations (SAO) operation and associated business functions. Employs specialized knowledge of computer programming and software, including Microsoft Access, WebFOCUS and mainframe Focus. Develops and supports client computing applications and business intelligence reporting. Analyzes data to deliver accurate information per system specifications. Interprets data extracts through partnership with project requestor and based on own business acumen. Proposes solutions to departmental data requirements in the forms of systems, databases, and other actionable reporting tools. Partners with Target Technology Services and complies with their standards. Ensures the integrity of products and services delivered. See Yourself: Projects: Leading or participating in definition and requirements gathering. Leading all aspects of technical infrastructure considerations in designing solutions. Responsible for testing, documentation, implementation and delivery. Actively participating in the verification of results to ensure accuracy. Support: Providing on-going cyclical services and support of products delivered. Responding to ad hoc inquiries. Working with internal and external resources to resolve problems quickly. Coordinating software testing and changes with TTS client support. Providing consulting and training for client turnover. Customer Service: Ensuring strong customer service and satisfaction by meeting the needs and requests of clients within Sales Accounting and Operations, their internal and external business partners in a complete and timely manner. Working with multiple tasks and prioritize to meet client deadlines. Acting proactively where possible to minimize problems or concerns. Meeting with clients to assist with plans to requests services to and gain insight into business needs. Communication: Maintaining close communication with clients and management regarding status of various projects, support and issues. Establishing and maintaining sound working relationships and flexibility for effective project implementations. Documentation/Process Discipline: Responsible to ensuring documentation (client, technical and support) of all applications and reports are completed and updated as needed. Contributing to the team by promoting: process improvement, data integrity, client self-sufficiency, best practices, and knowledge exchange. Complying with TTS standards as well as team standard disciplines. Training: Providing training and support to other analysts and associates as needed or requested. Project management: Utilizing project management tools and techniques in leading or participating in projects. Conducting systems specifications meetings, analyzing and interpreting data, making recommendations for systems design and reporting formats and facilitates new systems implementation and training. Professional/Self Development: Identifying and participating in training and development opportunities designed to improve professional skills and enhance personal growth. Building strong functional working knowledge of Sales Accounting and Operations and end user environments. Special projects: Participating in specially assigned activities as assigned. Job Requirements:Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree BS/BA or MIS Two to four years client computing experience. Relevant skills include: WebFOCUS, mainframe FOCUS, Microsoft Access Strong verbal and written skills Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent problem solving skills Strong customer service skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong numeric aptitudeDesired Requirements: Two or more years Target experience in Finance/Accounting.
