Enterprise Architect

The job holder manages research, development and implementation of an enterprise-wide technology architecture and strategy.  S/he monitors the progress of new and emerging technologies, assesses their business viability and consults with other senior-level IT managers to assess and evaluate current strategies.  S/he also makes recommendations, gains approval and develops implementation strategy for new technologies.

 

Minimum 10-12 years experience required  in technical and business functions.  Job holder must have in-depth knowledge of the company's total computing environment including major roles, interdependencies and organizational responsibilities.  S/he must also have strong business skills, and a thorough knowledge of the financial services industry.  S/he must have extensive knowledge about emerging technologies and understand issues related to integration, interconnectivity and the potential impact on the existing architecture.

S/he must also have excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in making formal presentations to all levels of management.  Job holder must be customer-service oriented  and a sound decision maker.  S/he must think creatively about technology related solutions, have expert arbitration skills and be able to influence people in high-impact situations.
