We provide investors with a broad range of brokerage, mutual fund and consumer financial products and services on an integrated basis.The Institutional Program Management team is seeking an Enterprise Project Manager to join their team in Omaha, NE or Jersey City, NJ.Role:The candidate will be responsible for shepherding new products, services and client features through the TD Ameritrade Software Development Lifecycle that relate to our expanding Mutual Fund and Fixed Income offering. They will provide enterprise project management of related projects and activities. Additionally, the candidate must ensure that established standards (on-time launch, overall usability, performance, etc.) are met or exceeded in all efforts.Responsibilities: Understand, communicate and utilize TD Ameritrade Software Development Lifecycle Provide Enterprise Project Management for projects including development and execution of an Enterprise Project Plan as well as usage of TDA standard PM tools and reporting mechanisms. Coordinate and lead project team meetings Interface with business owners to understand their needs and secure appropriate project buy-in/sign-off throughout Life Cycle Identify cross functional project resources and manage their deliverables Facilitate resource assignment and matrix reporting structure Seek and review input from cross functional team and make final decisions regarding project scope Communicate all project-related information (weekly status reports, participation in executive meetings, etc) to cross functional team Recommend functional solutions to business units Identify, track and resolve project issues Provide input about implementation details as needed to make strategic decisions Track progress of testing and participate as necessary in business acceptance testing Drive clear definition of roles and responsibilities for each team member. Drive training of business units on new product functionality Drive decision making to keep project on track and ultimately successful Generate new ideas and/or new ways to implement the ideas Facilitate final go/no-go decision for product launches Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple complex projects, tasks and issues Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to comfortably lead, encourage and motivate a group Solid business knowledge of the brokerage industry Deep understanding of Mutual Funds, and Fixed Income order process, handling and execution Experience using a Mutual Fund sub-accounting platform Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience in presenting to senior management Ability to work within a team environment with resource in multiple geographic locations Experience managing others a plus Minimum of 5-7 years relevant industry experience Minimum of 5-7 years Technology Project Management experience in a cross-functional environment Bachelor degree in business, finance, or related field.
