Job Description

Perform fundamental research and analysis on potential investments and make recommendations on individual public equities using a value oriented approach and an emphasis on original, bottoms-up research. Additional investment opportunities may include strategic block investments, merger arbitrage, restructurings and other special situations.  Any applicant must have the ability to: Collect and analyze publicly available information. Construct and maintain detailed financial models. Conduct extensive interviews with management, customers, suppliers and competitors. Attend industry conferences and trade shows. Synthesize available data into concise investment recommendations.  

 

 

Relevant Experience Minimum 2-3 years of buy-side research ideally with a value investing approach. Very strong academic background. Preferred Bachelors from a top school with a concentration in finance and/or a CFA. Very strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling. Very strong work ethic and passion in investing. Superior quantitative, analytical, relevant computer and communications skills.
