Escrow Officer / Manager

Well established Title and Escrow Services Office is looking for a Manager for their office located in Northern Idaho. If you are into skiing, hiking, mountain biking and are looking for a lifestyle away from the big city, this is the place for you.  This is a great community for raising a family. Responsibilities: Process and close primary residential and basic commercial transactions.  Prepares escrow instructions and agreements, managing in closing the escrow. Communicates and sends lenders packages according to closing instructions. Disburses funds in accordance with standard accounting procedures and customer requirements. Effectively and professionally communicates with company employees and customers by phone, in person and through correspondence. Oversee the daily operations of the office.  Responsible for meeting office goals through effective management of the office.  Responsible for the building and maintaining of customer base and the continued building of business and customer relations in the community serviced by the office.   Qualifications: BS degree or combination of education and experience. 1-3+ years experience within the title industry. Basic knowledge of real estate law, 1031 Exchanges, governmental regulations and established title and escrow practices. Basic knowledge and proficiency with office technology as well as standard software such as WordPerfect, Word, and Windows as required. Accuracy, thoroughness and ability to make sound decisions is critical. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate and administer multiple projects. Basic knowledge of title/escrow office practices and procedures.
