Lenox Advisors is a full-service, multi-faceted financial services firm.  Our clients hire us for our commitment to help them achieve long-term financial success.  We have an immediate opportunity in our New York office for an Executive Assistant supporting a partner in the company.  The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general administrative tasks in addition to client service/sales support. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

 Maintaining partner’s calendar, scheduling all meetings and appointments and properly entering details into database tracking systemConfirming all meetings and appointments as directed by the partner.Assembling proper documentation, such as insurance illustrations, policy and product summaries, reports, presentations, marketing packages, etc pertaining to the client or prospect prior to sales meetings. Handling incoming calls and creating correspondence.Following up on late notices with clients and reinstating lapsed cases when necessary.Performing all changes to policies, including address, beneficiary/ownership changes, premium mode changes, etc.Maintaining client files according to company compliant procedures.

 

The ideal candidate will be professional, with excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong phone etiquette.  The individual must have three-five years experience, be highly organized and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Attention to detail is a must.  Strong computer knowledge including prior database work and excellent excel skills. Prior experience and/or knowledge of the life insurance industry or working with a sales executive is preferred.
