Executive Compensation and System Analyst
Prepares all Board material for the Compensation Committee meetings, executive compensation market analysis, and Peer Group market analysis. Partners with Tax, External Reporting, and Legal to ensure proper disclosure, accounting and audit requirements are met. Provides strategic input in all aspects of compensation, including short and long term incentive plan design, equity compensation, and salary structures. Works closely with Senior HR Leadership to develop strategic initiatives that support the Paychex compensation philosophy and methodology. Ensures Compensation programs are aligned with desired corporate philosophy and overall vision. Where gaps exist, will partner in the research, design, development and implementation of changes necessary to close gaps. Conducts and supports annual evaluation of market competitiveness. Formulates and designs competitive compensation policies and programs to attract, motivate, and reward performers and to impact, drive and improve performance. Keeps current on the regulations governing Executive Pay. Provides mentorship to Compensation Department team members on all aspects of compensation.A bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of dedicated compensation experience and 3 years focused on executive rewards and compensations strategy. Compensation Professional Certification is preferred. Superior communication and presentation skills as well as excellent written and verbal skills are required. Knowledge of complex statistics and compensation methodologies, equity programs, executive and sales compensation is required. Technical knowledge of compensation programs, related financials, legal / regulatory requirements, incentives and rewards is required. smf
