Business/Strategic Management Reference Code 5754282000005882 Email to a friend • Print this page • Save this job • More Jobs • About Deloitte • F&DS Paraprofessional - Boston The Forensic & Dispute Services Group offers services to companies involved in litigation or alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including international arbitration.  Services in this area include assessing damage exposure; providing expert testimony on financial, economic and accounting issues; consulting to parties in dispute; mining data to uncover electronically stored information; and serving as neutral arbitrator in resolution of disputes.  Our forensic accounting and corporate investigative specialists conduct investigations, which often have international dimensions, into business-related misconduct through the reconstruction and review of transactions, accounting records, and agreements.   The Conflicts Analyst manages the US Firms' internal process to clear potential conflicts of interest when new clients or new engagements are proposed by partners in the group.  The work involves initiating a check for potential conflicts in the Deloitte Firms client databases, organization and interpretation of data, and communicating with colleagues across the organization in order to clear potential conflicts.  Responsibilities include assisting managers and partners in the completion of forms, management of large volumes of documents and files, conducting occasional research on clients and industry issues, preparation of reports and spreadsheets, proofreading of documents.  Knowledge of the industry is helpful.   The employee in this position reports to the Professional Practice Director via the lead Conflicts Analyst.  Qualified applicants must have: - 2-year (Associate's) or 4-year (Bachelor's) degree from a college or university. - strong written and oral communication skills. - keen attention to detail. - strong organizational skills. - strong interpersonal skills. - ability to take initiative and is a self-starter. - basic computer skills and the ability to work in Word and Excel. - a familiarity with online research tools, including OneSource, Hoovers, Dun & Bradstreet is a plus.  - ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work under pressure. - ability to work independently and in a group setting.   About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
