Job Description: TheF&I Representative assists the Finance and Insurance Services Department with training covering specified areas such as new procedures, new products and services, sales transactions and refresher training along with acting as a liaison for internal and external communications with dealers to grow relationships.Essential elements:1. Maintain a good flow of communication with the Finance and Insurance Services departmental employees.2. Sign and train at least the minimum number of dealers per month based on the department goals. Each dealer will be signed on one or more Finance & Insurance products.3. Present Finance and Insurance Services products to dealers, including the proper structuring of deals on the available programs.4. Assist the Finance and Insurance department in high look to book ratios with lenders.5. Work with the Area Sales and Training Manager to ensure all AFCD branches are adequately informed on new products and services and assist the Manager in conducting training sessions.6. Act as a liaison for internal and external communications with assigned dealers. Ensure a positive relationship with assigned dealers. Provide regular status reports and manage task lists on assigned accounts/deals.7. Recognize proper sales transactions with lender base ensuring quick turnaround times.8. Work with the Finance and Insurance Services Manager to develop new sales strategies and work with dealers to determine volume potential.9. Provide updated status reports and maintain database records.10. Ensure proper follow-through on all directives and schedules from managers.11. Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention from all contacts and transactions.Marginal elements:12. Other duties, as assigned.Education: Bachelors Degree in related field preferred.Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of previous Finance & Insurance experience in the last five (5) years is required along with at least two (2) years of experience in sales and training in automotive retail lending or related industry.Knowledge and skill: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word, as well as the ability to use the Internet for research purposes. Excellent interpersonal and training skills required. Strong organizational, time management and follow-up abilities are required. The ability to work in a very fast paced and challenging work environment is essential.
