Facilities Services Technician I

Location: New Castle, DE UNITED STATESFunctional Area: Customer ServiceMin Pay Rate: $0Max Pay Rate: $0Pay Type: HourResource Type: Full TimeJob Description: Work to implement and assist in the coordination of all minor building moves. Perform repair and maintenance work of minor complexity to building furnishings, fixtures and finishes under direction of Lead Technician and/or management. As directed by management, coordinate work to assist contractors and vendors employed to perform repair and maintenance work and moves of moderate to hign complexity. Implement facility services portion of all work orders, move/change request and new employee hire work orders within the appropriate time frame. Maintain inventory of tools required to provide services outlined above. Work with department technicians, engineering staff and management to maintain inventories of parts, materials and equipment as required. Assist with special projects as needed. Assist with various building inspections along with the annual facility audit review. Assist with the set up and break down of materials for special events and meetings.SKILLSRequired: Ability to work at multiple sites as needed. Ability to work overtime as needed. Experience in customer service and or customer service skills. Experience driving pick up and small box truck. Ability to effectively use manual tools, power tools, climb ladders, use testing equipment and work with common paints and laquers. Position requires frequent light to moderate lifting (up to 50lbs) and occasional heavy lifting/pushing of up to 100lbs and will require physical activity throughout the work day. Scheduled hours are for Sunday thru Thursday with Friday and Saturday off.Desired: Team player, good communicater and excellent people skills.Schedule is 12:30pm - 9:00pm, Monday - Friday with weekends and holidays as assigned by management Click here to apply:
